See lots of wasted space...There are a few plastic pieces that hold the front of the kick board on so I cut them and glued the kick board down flat for more support.
Make sure you only use 1" screws, 1 1/4" will go all the way through. oops...I am not going into detail how I made the actual drawer, but here it is with the slides attatched.

Ok, almost finished project, I just need to put the face and handle on it.
